My son participates in an art show called Chained Voices. He was making a piece for a show and his colored pencils were taken away due to a policy change and he was unable to finish. He presented the piece anyway as a themed piece called "two side of love/life" The colored side when life is good and you are happy and the dark, backward side when life is a struggle and you have to push to move forward, everything is dark and turned around. I took the piece to another young man who was on parole and he turned it into a tattoo that I now carry across my shoulders right were my kids have always been.
