  • Me too...I actually have several now in my town that have incarcerated children... When I am crazy I can call them and they understand. You don't get the 'bad mom' or ' terrible child' from them.
  • Yes, I was just told I have it...PTSD. Not sure what to do about it, but explains some of my issues. I don't go through the pics often.
  • He is a cutie! I love looking at my son's pictures and showing them to his daughter. I want her to know him as a kid and not this man locked up in prison. He is wonderful with her and she wants to visit him all the time. Kat..PTSD...we for sure have it. I live on a long street with six houses. Whenever the police would go by my heart would sink. I never realized how bad it was until a policeman moved in next door and drove by a couple times a day or more. I had no idea how tense I was until then. Even though I knew it was him.. just seeing the car was enough to keep me stressed. That is one of the reasons this group is so important. We can vent here with unconditional understanding.
  • And thanks .....he still looks like me. He was my savior when my mom died. To lose him is too much.
  • It's very hard and my daughter fusses at me. But, remembering wonderful times and being thankful for them is more a good thing to me than a bad thing. Just never thought they would only be memories.
