Don’t spam, promote, or troll. This community is not a place to spam, promote your services, or bully anyone else. No selling, or self-promoting/advertising.
Hopefully, these should be easy agreements. If you think you’ll be unable to abide by these guidelines, let us know and we’re happy to remove you.
Unauthorized Solicitations are Prohibited
We do not operate like Facebook; members are not allowed to post unapproved solicitations/causes on our website. You must have the post approved, regardless of its correlation to the M.I.S.S. agenda. We do not allow political opinions or implications.
If you have a project that you would like to promote on the website, you will need to contact the Director/Founder of M.I.S.S.
A member is not allowed to post links, solicitations for other organizations' projects and/or a member's project without prior approval. If any member posts unapproved inks, projects or solicits other organizations' agendas without prior approval, their post will be deleted and their account is subject to suspension immediately without warning.
However, your personal links, e.g., articles, videos, pictures and forum discussions do not require prior approval, as long as they are in good taste and adhere to our terms of service.
We ask that you do not block your M.I.S.S. broadcast email messages
We try to keep our emails at a minimal, but from time to time we have what we think is important information to share with you. This is how we keep members engaged and informed of our call to action projects. We don't see the sense of becoming a member if a person doesn't want to know what's happening within our group. Therefore, we ask that you keep your inbox settings open to receive our emails.
Your account will be suspended if you opt-out of receiving M.I.S.S. emails. Also, if your account shows no activity for 60 days straight, your account will be in jeopardy for suspension as well.
*Note: We suggest that members DO NOT use their personal address for the card program. If any member chooses to use their personal return address against our advice, then our organization Mothers of Incarcerated Sons Society (M.I.S.S.) will not be held liable.*
We respect your right to privacy. None of the information we collect is passed on to other parties, except when required as part of the business services we provide for you, or as required under [United States] law.
